Discover the benefits of a heat pump at home

Are you looking for a comfortable and energy-efficient way to heat your home?

A heat pump offers the best of both worlds: a comfortable indoor climate and substantial savings on your energy bills. At Airco Bollenstreek, we are happy to help you make the switch to sustainable heating that is fully personalised to your home and requirements. Whether you want to modify your existing heating system or have a new-build project, we provide the perfect installation.

What is a heat pump?

A heat pump is an energy-efficient system that heats your home by converting heat from the environment (air, ground or water) into usable heat for your home.

By using electricity instead of gas, the heat pump offers a sustainable way of heating that can significantly reduce your energy consumption.

The advantages of a heat pump at Airco Bollenstreek

At Airco Bollenstreek, we look beyond just installing a heat pump. We think along with you to make your existing heating system suitable for optimal efficiency with a heat pump. For example, we can install underfloor heating or replace radiators with low-temperature versions.

Our approach is simple: either we do it right, or we don’t. Do you have a new construction project? Then we immediately integrate a sustainable and energy-efficient installation, so you can benefit from the latest in heating technology. We neatly conceal the pipes in the floor or in the walls, so that the system is invisible and yet heats every room optimally.

A heat pump combined with solar panels

Since a heat pump runs on electricity, the combination with solar panels offers an ideal solution. With solar panels, you generate your own electricity, allowing your heat pump to run largely on self-generated energy. This further reduces your energy costs and makes your home more sustainable.

Is a heat pump suitable for cooling?

A heat pump offers opportunities for additional cooling, provided your delivery system is suitable for it. With underfloor heating, for example, you can set the water to a lower temperature (around 18˚C), which provides slight cooling. Also called ‘secondary cooling’.

Do you have fan coil units? Then it is possible to use water up to 7˚C, which provides more cooling power. This type of cooling requires a piping system with insulated plastic pipes, as steel pipes are not suitable.

ISDE subsidy on heat pumps

Did you know that you can qualify for ISDE subsidy (Investment subsidy for sustainable energy) for heat pumps?

This subsidy helps lower the cost of a heat pump and makes the switch to sustainable heating even more attractive. Feel free to ask us about the possibilities; we will be happy to advise you on the financial benefits.
